Our Program's History

Duff Cattle Company's Power Plus Beef Genetics is a 500 head seedstock operation located in southwest Oklahoma. Brothers Kirk and Todd along with their sons are blessed to be the fourth, and fifth generations of Duffs to care for the land located in and around Hobart, Oklahoma. In addition to breeding cattle, the Duff family also farms several acres of wheat, barley, corn, cotton and alfalfa. The primary role of the farming operation is to supply feed ingredients for the 5000 head feedlot and beef business.

The vertically-integrated beef program creates the opportunity to capture value at the ranch level for our bull customers. We purchase high quality calves at top market prices from our bull customers, then finish them out in our all-natural program. The cattle are shipped for harvest to our friends and partners, Caviness Beef Packers, in Hereford, Texas. Caviness then distributes the beef products to numerous Whole Foods grocery stores throughout the southwestern states including Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and others.

For generations the good Lord has blessed our family and we continue to be very passionate about what we do here at Duff Cattle. In the beef industry today, quality and efficiency are of paramount importance. We strive to breed practical cattle with undeniable eye appeal, fleshing ease, efficiency and longevity. Our genetics have been tested, proven and appreciated around the globe. On the rail our genetics consistently grade 93-95% choice and prime on 250-300 head harvested weekly. We also take pride in the fact that our bulls and females are among the most efficient beef animals to graze grass anywhere on the planet. Additionally, performance, fertility, and maternal quality are fundamental qualities we maintain in the cattle here at Power Plus.
